What’s New in 2009
NEW FOR 2009 INTERACTIVE FAIR MAP
We have added an interactive fair map to this years website. Just click on any of the red outlined hot-spots on the map and a picture will popup of that location.
PRINTABLE FREE ENTERTAINMENT DAILY SCHEDULES
You now can print a daily schedule of the free entertainment performing on the fairground. Just choose the day you are coming to the fair and click print. You will then have a schedule of events for that day that you can bring with you to the fair so you will know when each act is performing.
NEW FOR 2009 - BLOOMSBURG FAIR PHOTO GALLERY
We have installed many galleries of fairs gone by on our website this years. Take a trip down memory lane by browsing photos of fairs from the past. Many pictures are available thanks in part to contributions from our own fair photog, Harriet Renaud. Thank you. Harriet also maintains the Midway page and keeps you abreast of things happening in and around the Midway.
GUITAR HERO COMPETITION
There will be Guitar Hero Competitions held daily at the lower end of the fairgrounds in Millennium Park with prizes and giveaways daily. There will be two 10' (10 feet) big screens set up under one large tent. This is a "gotta see" and participate in event. Test your skills against some of the best local talents at Guitar Hero. Fun for everyone.

NEW - ELEPHANT ENCOUNTER
ELEPHANT ENCOUNTER is an educational and entertaining experience for the entire family, as we guide you through an up close and personal encounter with the worlds largest animals. No place, anywhere, will you see elephants like you are going to see here at the fair.
You’ll be inspired as you experience the full force of each elephant’s unique individual personality. We are lucky to have both species of elephants. Cora is a 49-year-old Asian elephant, weighing in at 9000 pounds and Shannon our 25-year-old African elephant, weighing in at 4500.
This could change the way you think and feel about these magnificent creatures forever. These are not circus elephants, nor are they zoo elephants. They are family elephants and have been owned and cared for by the Morris family for virtually their entire lives. A family who represents 3 generations who have dedicated their entire lives to the study and care of these elephants.
Location: Kiddie Ride Section at the west end of the Fairground
