General Rules & Policies

To ensure a safe environment for all patrons, The Bloomsburg Fair Association, Board of Directors, hereinafter called “FAIR” have approved the following policies to be enforced on all Fair-owned, rented, or leased property during the annual Fair and non-Fair events. To maintain a family atmosphere at all times, Bloomsburg Fair Security has been directed to act as agents to enforce these policies on behalf of The FAIR. The Town of Bloomsburg, Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, and Pennsylvania State Police are also permitted to enforce these policies on behalf of The FAIR when they are present on the grounds.

Please be advised

  • Persons entering the facility, and the grounds assume all risks incidental to the event.
  • The FAIR reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refuse admission or eject any person violating any law, rule, regulation, or policy during the Fair and non-Fair events. 
  • Persons also are subject to potentially having their image and/or likeness reproduced for promotional and/or publicity purposes of Fair or media photography, video, broadcasts, and/or webcasts. 
  • Shirts, blouses, trousers, pants, and foot apparel are required to be worn at all times.
  • Acts, events, and show times are subject to change and/or cancellation. Attractions and Shows availability are subject to change. The operation of attractions is subject to weather conditions. 
  • The FAIR reserves the right to enact policy changes at any time, in their sole discretion. 
  • Demonstrations, protests, and vigils of any nature are prohibited on the grounds and premises of The Fair during any and all functions or at any time. 
  • The FAIR is not responsible for lost, stolen, or misplaced fair admission/parking/entertainment passes. 
  • The FAIR reserves the right to inspect and search all items and guests entering the Fairgrounds property or any buildings or structures located on the property.  This may include walk-through metal detectors or the use of handheld magnetometers, but not limited thereof. 

The following items are prohibited

  • Weapons, or objects that appear to be weapons (with the exception of  those permitted by the state of PA via license)
  • Fireworks or other explosive or flammable objects
  • Alcoholic beverages or any illegal substance (Alcohol may be purchased  at designated sale areas on site, but no outside alcohol is permitted}
  • Drones, quadcopters, Remote controlled cars, or trucks on or above property owned or leased, or controlled by the FAIR.
  • Bikes, skateboards, skates, rollerblades, hoverboards, segways, scooters, and golf carts are prohibited unless approved by the FAIR.
  • Pets are not allowed. Unless part of an authorized act or exhibit. Service animals are permitted for individuals with a disability. Service animals are defined by the A.D.A. The task (s) performed must be directly related to the person’s disability. Emotional support animals shall not be permitted.
  • Noisemakers, air horns, bull horns, laser pointers, large signs, and banners.
  • Umbrellas are not permitted on the grandstand or track seating areas during concerts.
  • Unapproved pamphlets, handouts, and advertisements.
  • Ski masks, Halloween masks, balaclavas (Medical grade masks are  accepted)
  • Guests are welcome to bring cameras to the fair. For Grandstand performances, audio/video recording is not permitted, and still, photography may be restricted by the artist(s). GoPro cameras are prohibited on all rides at the Fair, even if the camera is fastened to a harness or other device intended to hold the camera. 

Media, production crews, and individuals interested in shooting with tripods or equipment other than standard point-and-shoot cameras or mobile devices during the fair should contact the Media Office  – media@bloomsburgfair.com and/or call 570-784-4949 for approval. 

  • Other items may be refused at the discretion of the FAIR, security team, or law enforcement.

 

Smoking: 

  • Smoking, including e-cigarettes/vaping, is not allowed in any indoor facilities, tents, grandstands, or any other designated area of the Fairgrounds. 

 

Disruptive Behavior: 

  • Disruptive behavior is not tolerated at The Bloomsburg Fair. 
  • Prohibited – Offensive language or obscene gestures, including the use of such language or gestures concerning a person’s race, ethnicity, color, gender, religion,  creed, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, or national origin; or instigate, incite or encourage a confrontation or physical assault. 
  • Any individual(s) who engage in unlawful activity, such as intimidation, flashing signs, engaging in criminal activity, and/or committing overt acts to cause disruption or incite disorder while attending The Bloomsburg Fair or non-Fair events are subject to ejection, trespass notice, and possible arrest.

Admissions to the Fairgrounds

  • The Bloomsburg Fair is Exclusively an Etix Ticket Facility. We will not and do not accept any other forms of tickets from any other ticketing companies or sources.  Customers purchasing from other ticket sources do so completely at their own risk. The Bloomsburg Fair will not honor any tickets that are not Bloomsburg Fair or Etix-issued tickets. 
  • The Bloomsburg Fair uses barcode scanning for Gate Admission and Grandstand  Tickets. If you purchase from an unauthorized agent in the secondary ticket market (scalper, ticket broker, eBay, Stub Hub, Craigslist, etc.) you risk purchasing counterfeit or invalid tickets which may result in refusal of admission.  The Bloomsburg Fair is not responsible for any tickets purchased through any ticket broker. 
  • A Handstamp is REQUIRED for re-admission into The Bloomsburg Fair. If a  handstamp is not present, or if it appears to have been tampered with or transferred, the purchase of the ticket will be required. Admission tickets to the fairgrounds must be picked up before the fair week starts. 
  • WILL CALL window is located at the Bloomsburg Fair Grandstand – inside the  Fairgrounds. It is recommended that all tickets be picked up a day before the event or before the week of the fair. 
  • Fairgoers purchasing tickets at the Fair Box Office must pay Fair Admission.
  • Fairgoers entering the grounds/concert do so at their own risk. 
  • The Bloomsburg Fair Association, Board of Directors, and Staff/ Employees are not responsible for lost or stolen items. 
  • Admission Ticket Prices are subject to change without notice.
  • All Tickets expire with the expiration date indicated on the ticket.

Ticketed Events on Main Stage

  • All sales are final. No refunds. Please examine your ticket for the event date and time. All shows are rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, please call  570-387-4145, check social media, or expect an email to ticketholders. 
  • Purchasing Concert Tickets on the Day of the Show – Most Fair Grandstand  Shows have tickets still available day of the show. Any questions regarding the day of show status, call 570-387-4145. Tickets may be purchased at the Fair Box Office or Bloomsburg Fair Website www.bloomsburgfair.com until show time. For purchases online, it is recommended to select “Mobile Ticket” as the delivery option. 
  • Coolers and backpacks are not permitted in the grandstand or track area during show events. 
  • Smoking of any kind (including e-cigarettes/vaping) is not allowed in the  Grandstand or Track Areas. 
  • Concertgoers may choose to stand at their assigned seats. The track is a flat surface, and the stage is raised, but it may be difficult to see from the track seats if you do not want to stand. The seating in the grandstand is tiered and may allow for better viewing if you choose to stay seated. 
  • Umbrellas are not permitted on the grandstand or track seating areas during concerts.
